Can you imagine waiting four months to receive confirmation that your loved one is dead and their body is being held hostage by a terror organization? Can you imagine that multiple members of your family – kids, parents, grandparents – were abducted by terrorists, and for four months, you have no idea what their conditions are or whether they are alive or dead?

Not only are we dealing with physical warfare following the brutal Hamas attacks on October 7th – they’re also doing their best to perpetrate psychological warfare as well by not providing any information whatsoever about the hostages. This is what you are asking us to accept and live with when you call for an unconditional ceasefire that leaves Hamas in power – a terror organization that calls for Israel’s destruction in its charter and has publicly stated they will carry out more such attacks.

This is not a group that’s interested in making peace or in protecting its people. They aren’t freedom or resistance fighters – if they were, they would protect and support their people instead of using them as human shields and stealing desperately needed aid.

If you want this war to end, demand that Hamas cease firing at our troops and firing rockets at our population centers (which they are still doing), that they surrender, and that they release the people they kidnapped.
