He pushed for months. He knew it was something that I’d enjoyed before, and that it was something I hadn’t had time to even think about since the Little One was born. And, if I was really being honest with myself, I knew it was something that I’d like to do again.

I was worried about the time commitment, and told him so. “You’d only have to do it once, maybe twice a week. I’ll do the same, and that should be enough to keep it going.” I fretted. I debated. Would I have time? Would I be able to keep up? If we did it together, I should be okay. “Count me in,” I told him. After all, I reasoned, I could surely write one to two posts per week for a group blog with good pal Anglosaxy

We came up with a name (I had suggested “On the Face”, but was informed that it was, of course, taken by another blogger…), created the tagline, and fine-tuned the template. Three years ago today, we posted our first blog entry, and something something was born. While the format has taken a variety of twists and turns along the way, I’ve done my best to maintain the tone set in that original post. And so far, it’s definitely been something something…
